PRE-ORDER Guidance
As you are probably aware, recent updates to ATF's eForm approval process has resulted in drastically improved turnaround times. While this is certainly a positive change, it has also had a predictable impact on suppressor inventory across the industry.
With that in mind, if you know you want a particular suppressor (or three) and it isn't in stock, your best bet is to place a "PRE-ORDER" so that we can purchase your desired suppressor the moment it becomes available from our distributors. If you wait until it shows in-stock on the website, you might miss your opportunity. PRE-ORDER helps us seek out and purchase what you are looking for. This is true whether you buy from us or someone else.
Thank you for considering Longbow Arms, we hope to earn your business.

DUAL-LOK™ FlashComp
Griffin Armament is proud to introduce DUAL-LOK™, our newest QD mounting system for rifle suppressors. The DUAL-LOK™ system is comprised from two parts, the DUAL-LOK™ Mount and the DUAL-LOK™ muzzle device (of your choice). This page is for the DUAL-LOK™ FlashComp, a combination compensator and flash-hiding muzzle device.
The muzzle device integrates 60 machined mounting position locking grooves, which is doubled by the mount’s two locking positions, hence the double entendre DUAL-LOK™. How is this achieved? The mounts’ two locking positions are machined out of phase of one another by 3 degrees which provides the 120 effective locking positions and ensures a tightly mounted and locked suppressor. When the suppressor is installed, only one of the two positions will generally function by allowing the spring to push the locking collar rearward over the splines.
The DUAL-LOK™ FlashComp incorporates vast R&D resources from years of testing recoil-compensating and flash-hiding design geometry. The DUAL-LOK™ FlashComp behaves as both a compensator to mitigate recoil, and a flash-hider with its three-prong flash suppressing end geometry. Gas is directed out and away by the sloped channels CNC-machined behind the flash-hiding prongs. The ACME thread ensures rapid installation, while the taper ensures repeatable concentricity, and acts as the first locking mechanism. The second lock is achieved when you engage the DUAL-LOK™ retention ring with the splines machined into the muzzle device. This second lock ensures that your DUAL-LOK™ suppressor isn't going anywhere, and the 120 locking positions ensures the suppressor is locked into the same position every time for minimal & predictable POI-shift & accuracy. Unlike similar ratchet-locking mount systems on the market, the DUAL-LOK™ system is free of wear-prone, metal on metal parts that loose their effectiveness over time with use.
